Lotte Sant (SF 6’1”, 2001) from Netherlands

Lotte is a lefty SF with an interesting size for a SF but regular length, who has wide frame but still a bit un-athletic.  She possesses quite good wingspan, but doesn’t run the floor quick. Her mobility is good enough and shows a correct knowledge for the game.

Sant displays a correct mobility on the D end, and doesn’t refuse to play through the contact. She also offers an extra effort to do double-team in the corners with promising aggressiveness on the ball and good footwork. Lotte executes pretty well help-and-recover situations coming from the weak side. The Dutch also shows box-out discipline and she usually finishes the games as the best rebounder of her team.

Lotte has the correct size to play back to the basket plays against smaller SF, because she is good enough reading miss-match situations. Despite of that, she should improve making decision in the O. She is able to take the ball from side to side due her dribbling fundamentals. In addition, she often uses catch and quick 1st dribbling to pass the defender, and she likes really much to use change-of-pace dribbling in face-off plays. Her soft touch and size package allows her to score from the contact inside the paint. The Dutch displays promising passing skills for a SF, either driving and dishing or distributing from the block post. Her shooting fundamentals are also remarkable: runs quite well through the screens, square-up in the correct way, good release (even from deep) and she is able to use both catch-and-shot and shot-off-the-dribbling releases.
