Kenza Salgues (SG 5’9”, 2000) from France after Udine 2016 U16

Kenza is a SG with a good scoring instinct, but possesses enough dribbling skills to play as a CG. She is a bit undersize for a SG spot, but her mobility is quite good, and has a promising athleticism.

Salques displays a good shooting mechanics and quick release. Her 1st crossover step is remarkable; and drives nearly hard to the rim displaying soft touch close to the rim. In the fast break situations, Kenza show an interesting quickness, with long strides dribbling. In the pick and roll play, Salgues is able to create from the dribbling enough space to make her shot off the dribbling or dish the ball to the roll/pop.

In the D end, Kenza uses her mobility and activity to deflect some ball coming from the weak side. She also shows an interesting slide guarding the ball, but needs to put more emphasis (or extend the effort) in the D end.
